Introduction to Unit 5 and 6

Unit 5 – Investigating audio production and technology

Within this unit, I will need to analyse audio-based problems and apply my own research to support solutions to these issues within creative media production. I will also need to plan, organise and present these solutions.

I will need to apply practical audio skills and methods to solve problems in creative media and analyse how effective these solutions are.

Unit 6 – Investigating visual production and technology

I will need to analyse visual-based problems and apply my own research to support my solutions to the issues that arise and show my ability to plan, organise and present these solutions within a creative media production.

I will then have to analyse the practical skills I have used and how effective these skills are.

How will I accomplish this?

I will meet these tasks by making a checklist of all of my tasks I need to complete. I will then tick each of them off as I complete them. Once all tasks are completed, I will proof read them all once again to check for spelling, grammar and punctuation to get the basics correct. I will then read the unit specifications to check that all of my tasks meet the requirements and beyond to gain exceptional passes.

Targets

I will set personal and educational SMART Targets to help with my tasks. For example, I will be using audio editing software and I will be needing to practice and develop my skills in this area to achieve more within the quality of the products I will be creating.
